PRIMO
Primo Ferraro, twenty-four years old, a face and body that were sculpted by Michelangelo, is visiting his Uncle, Jack Ferraro, and his wife, Maria. She is not aware that Primo has just been released from jail after serving a three-year sentence.
Jack Ferraro is about forty-five years old and is a New York City policeman. Maria is about thirty-five, buxom and hot-to-trot. Jack is not into sex and is always making fun of her overdeveloped breasts and her hunger for sex.
Maria’s needs are strong… Her eyes go to Primo…
J.J. Fontana is forty-seven years old. He works for the mob. It’s the only work he knows…anything the big boss needs, J.J. gets the call, from collecting loanshark money to hustling floating crap games to playing undertaker for the mob’s in-house killer, Pete “The Wop”.
J.J. lives with his mother in a modest home in Hoboken. He has a keen sense of duty to family and with profits from his enterprises has put his brother through medical school and paid all of the household bills. J.J. has them both fooled into thinking that their father left a healthy insurance policy. Mama has no idea what he does or where he goes when he leaves the house and stays out all night…she’s forever yelling at him and calling him a “vagabondo”….”why don’t you get a job like your brother, Anthony, she tells him “he’s a doctor” and is forever nagging him for not helping her in her vegetable garden.
J.J. loves the variety of his job but what he can’t stomach is the necessary but sickening job of burying the bodies…
Zeke and Willie Prophet are two black kids from central Florida. Willie builds and drives race cars – street racing for money. Zeke takes care of business. Willie Prophet hasn’t lost a race in years.
Alan Spence is the top driver on the NASCAR racing circuit. He is a rude, arrogant man. Alan rarely loses races but is about to meet a newcomer on the circuit – Willie Prophet. Will Alan get his comeuppance?
